Ken Sansom brings nearly four decades of technology leadership spanning four continents, including a decade at Amazon Web Services as a senior AI executive.
Born and raised in Oregon, he has lived in eight U.S. states and eight countries and has traveled to more than forty others—experiences that shaped his deep global perspective and ignited a deep curiosity about how technology connects and divides us.
His writing is known for its distinctive voice and a poet’s eye for detail. He earned his undergraduate degree from Lewis & Clark College, and master’s degrees from UCLA Anderson and the National University of Singapore.
He’s written extensively as a business executive and for the last 35+ years, Ken has coined an annual poem that captures the year in prose.
His love of reading and writing was sparked by his mother’s summer job as a librarian, while hot summer nights spent sleeping beneath open skies taught him to dream big.
